Dr. Trevor Shewski
Dr. Shewski prioritizes comfort and care when treating patients, creating a warm, friendly environment. He believes that every smile is beautiful, and strives to help his patients maintain healthy, functional teeth that are uniquely theirs – while opening up new possibilities for desired appearance and change. Above all, Dr. Shewski loves helping people, and it shows in his own smile and gentle nature.
A native of Plano, Dr. Shewski has local family roots and loves that he is serving his community by providing excellent dental care. Dr. Shewski attended dental school at Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas after graduating from the University of Arkansas with a BS in Biology. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and regular provider for Watermark Urgent Care in Dallas. Dr. Shewski has experience in a wide range of treatment, including restorative dentistry, root canals, extractions and more – and he continues to spend time outside of his day to day practice furthering his dental knowledge through continuing education.
Dr. Shewski is Invisalign certified and an active member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He loves working with patients – whether to improve oral health or cosmetic appearance – and especially loves the end result: Improved confidence and happier smiles.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shewski spends time with his wife Libby, son Liam, and their dog Luka, and enjoys having his family close by. He loves sports (especially basketball and baseball), fishing, and going to the movies.

Dr. Allison Veytsman
Dr. Veytsman is passionate about creating healthy beautiful smiles and tailoring treatments to each patient's unique needs, ensuring that every visit is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin before achieving High Honors and a Distinction in Dental Education at UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry. Her commitment to excellence led her to complete an Advanced General Dentistry residency at Texas A&M School of Dentistry in Dallas.
Dedicated to staying at the forefront of her field, Dr. Veytsman actively pursues advanced training opportunities. She notably enhanced her expertise in esthetic dentistry through participation in the Crown Council Young Dentist Program in Utah. Her comprehensive skill set encompasses a wide range of dental treatments including root canals, extractions, clear aligner orthodontics, restorative dentistry, and advanced esthetic procedures.
Dr. Veytsman remains up to date on the latest advancements by maintaining memberships in the Texas Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Veytsman, originally from Lubbock, Texas, met her husband during her studies at the University of Texas at Austin. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their son, Bennett, as well as their pets, Boris and Reggie. She is passionate about reading, traveling, and practicing yoga. An enthusiastic snow skier, she has frequented the slopes of Taos, New Mexico, since childhood.

Everyone on the Star Ranch Dental team gets along well and are even friends outside of the office. It's not uncommon to hear staff laughing and joking with each other throughout the day, but we’re also highly skilled and experienced in all aspects of dentistry. What to Expect at Your First Visit
THE PATIENT EXPERIENCE
When you first walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted by our comfortable environment and our friendly office staff. You’ll be invited to sit down and relax as you fill out any new patient forms prior to your appointment. Once those are complete and your hygienist is ready for you, we’ll invite you back into one of our operatories.
You’ll receive a comprehensive exam, x-rays, and your doctor will determine what type of cleaning will best suit your needs, and sit down with you to discuss the results. If everything looks good, we'll perform a cleaning and you’ll be able to schedule your next appointment in the front office. If anything needs extra attention, your doctor will explain the results and take time to address any questions or concerns you might have, and he will describe any further treatment recommendations.
WHAT TO BRING
In order to help make your visit more efficient, we ask that you bring your ID, your insurance information, and any patient forms you’ve filled out prior to your appointment.

Community Outreach
Our philosophy of care goes beyond the office walls. We believe that it’s our responsibility to care for our patients, both in and out of the operating chair, and one of the best ways to do this is through our community outreach programs. We regularly serve through Watermark Urgent Care, providing dental treatment to people in Dallas. We also recently hosted Watermark Urgent Care in our office, providing cleanings to people in Watermark Church's refugee and prison ministries.
